FORN has always been known for its gastronomy deep rooted in creativity and culinary excellence. Having lunch or dinner at our restaurant in Palma de Mallorca is, more often than not, a sensory journey in which it’s impossible to pick just one of our dishes to try. This is why we want to give our clients the opportunity of trying in just one menu the different gastronomic options of our establishment, beginning with a starter to then move on to pasta, fish and meat with an explosive dessert. A fresh and intense starter to begin the FORN Tasting Menu

We have created a menu featuring five dishes through which you can savour some of the most representative creations of our restaurant in Palma de Mallorca. Amongst all the dishes, the one which best represents a starter in true FORN style is our tuna tartar, with guacamole and Japanese sauce, a mix of culinary nationalities fabulously paired with Terrible, a Verdejo from Rueda which you can optionally include in the menu. The tasting menu has commenced with a fresh and intense dish.

 

The main courses to savour at our restaurant in Palma de Mallorca

The trident of main courses for the FORN Tasting Menu is pasta, fish and meat. A guaranteed way to summarise each one of the specialities of our restaurant in Palma de Mallorca and to offer you a varied selection of the best dishes which we produce. Following the tuna tartar the second dish is a home-made pear ravioli with pecans and a leek sauce, to represent the pastas; the third dish is a grilled wild seabass, sautéed spinach, an almond cream and a light red wine sauce, to represent the fish; and the fourth dish is a suckling confit pig, with sautéed shiitake mushrooms, salsify puree and a basil oil, for the meat option. These three delicacies can be paired with Austum (Sauvignon Blanc- Rueda), Skio (Albariño -Rías Baixas) and a Leston Reserva Rioja, for if you do decide to opt for the Tasting Menu at FORN which includes the wine pairings.

 

A classic at FORN which we had to include on this menu

Although the selection process for the starters and mains of our tasting menu was somewhat complex, with the dessert choice we had one thing clear: our lightly caramelised strawberries filled with crema catalana are an iconic classic at FORN and we had to make them the finishing touch to our menu.
