Restaurant in Palma de Mallorca with its own history

Like the name already indicates, our restaurant in Palma is located in a former bakery from the 19th century. In 1992 its founder Joan Baqués converted it into a restaurant. It got its present appearance a couple of years ago from Carlos and Christian Baqués, the founder’s sons. We always look for innovation, but we never lose our roots since our restaurant in Palma de Mallorca has been a family business for more than 27 years.

With high-quality produce as our sole focus, our restaurant in Palma de Mallorca offers a Mediterranean based menu which delicately prepares both meat and fish, carefully designed to be shared between various diners.

Carlos and Christian Baqués, sons of the founder of the restaurant, Joan Baqués, took the reins of this passionate project and since 2019 the Forn de Sant Joan has entered into its third significant stage: a change of image, philosophy, menu and name; now, we are FORN.
